In front of the beach with swimming pool, very quiet and comfortable.
Location is little far from downtown, night marker, bathroom is not suitable for kids. Shower from top and no bath tube.
beautiful quiet grounds, well planned buildings, simple but comfortable style with attention paid to the smallest detail. eager to please staff. lovely stretch of peaceful beach in the afternoon and evenings, in the am the sea is too high to walk but swimming is easy.
breakfast is good but dinner and lunch could use a manager in the kitchen, food comes slowly though is fine when it arrives. the occasional jellyfish in the water makes sea bathing not so relaxing but this is not within the control of the hotel!
This was our second time on BTD and we will definitely be back. The decor, the layout and the location are all perfect and there is a very pleasant and nice atmosphere at the hotel. Perfect spot for a family or for the romancing couple.
The reception staff could be slightly more welcoming upon arrival.
Relax atmosphere, comfortable and not too crowded. Breakfast is not so variety but nice. Hotel staffs are kind and friendly.
Its Takieb beach location is great, quiet and peaceful. It is just south from the busier south beach area and still close to everything in town. The hotel is well planned with lots of existing trees, beautiful garden and good sized beach front swiming pool. The size of the hotel is also very good, small yet cozy. Hotel serves good complimentary breakfast and the restaurant is very good but the price is a bit high.
The shower in the studio room is a kind of rain shower head and the glass partition on the side is a bit too short so we ended up with pool of water every time we use shower. The bathroom should be equipped with a ventilation fan, it is a bit stuffy.
This is probably the best value seafront property on Takiab Beach on the south side of Hua Hin town. Other properties are either not seafront or are more expensive. It is a small resort - the rooms are not large - but are adequate. They standard rooms have a seating area on the balcony. We did not stay in one of the more expensive bungalows. Pleasant oceanfront pool area with a small garden. Good for sitting at the sea wall and doing absolutely nothing.
New showers have been installed with rainheads. These are good except for the fact that you need to be shorter than 5ft8in to stand upright underneath them. Bizarre. Some 60+tv networks bit nothing to watch unless you like a regular fix of Thai soap opera or Russia Today. Transport to and from HH can be an issue. Solve this by hiring your own car and driving to Hua Hin. And then you can explore the region as well.
The management were agreeable to the cancellation of the booking after one night without charging for the remaining 4 nights. The breakfast was very authentic Thai and good.
I booked for 5 nights in a Pavillion Room, which was subsequently changed because it the room was not available on the first night. However this room was very unsatisfactory and the bathroom was badly in need of restoration work. The hotel is very over priced compared to other hotels in the area.
